To manage AI risk well, an organisation first has to manage risk well. These ten questions cover the parts of risk management that AI tests hardest: leadership, culture, appetite, the board’s attention, and your dependence on a few large providers.

It takes about five minutes, and your results appear on screen straight away. Nothing you answer here is stored.

For each question, choose the statement closest to your organisation today, not where you plan to be. If you don’t know, say so: that is an answer too.

The questions draw on the risk management maturity reviews I have carried out for boards over many years. They ask how things look to you, and are a prompt for discussion, not an audit.
